DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT – Ft. Myers/Bonita Springs
The YMCA is seeking a Director of Development who is a self-starter with a proven track
record achieving fundraising goals and initiatives. The successful candidate will provide
leadership in implementing the Hometown Partners and Annual Giving program in order to build
a long-term base of member and community support for the YMCA in Lee County. The Director
will implement a comprehensive, multi-year plan to increase strategic solicitation of financial
support with the overall goal to raise funds for areas of need within the YMCA.
Qualified applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four year college or
university. Minimum of 4 years of related experience with a solid understanding of fundraising
principles and methodologies preferred. Grant writing experience a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft
Office, Excel, PowerPoint and working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge preferred. Total rewards
