The Department of Education and Allied Studies seeks applicants for a faculty position (Assistant Professor) in the Counselor Education Program. This is a tenure track position in a CACREP-accredited master’s program.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
¨ Doctoral degree from a CACREP accredited program
¨ Valid license, or license eligible, as a Professional Clinical Counselor
¨ Evidence of potential for research and publishing in the field of Clinical Mental Health or School Counseling
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
¨ Experience teaching graduate level courses in Counselor Education
¨ Established record of scholarly publications
¨ Experience with CACREP accreditation standards
¨ Administrative experience
¨ Experience supervising counseling practicum and internship students
¨ Licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory designation in Ohio
¨ Licensed as a School Counselor
¨ Active participation in state/national counseling organizations and related community organizations
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
¨ Teaching graduate level courses
¨ Advising students
¨ Publishing scholarly works which reflect a focused research agenda
¨ Coordinating program activities
¨ Contributing service to university, department, and program
¨ Actively participating in state/national counseling organizations and in related community organizations
