Position Opening: Open Rank Professor of Counselor Education
The Neag School of Education invites applications for a full-time nine (9) month, open rank tenure track faculty position in Counselor Education with a start date of January 23, 2014. The successful candidate will teach graduate classes in the Counseling Program; maintain an active research agenda; advise students; have academic as well as clinical experience specific to School Counseling; fulfill service responsibilities to the program, department, school, university and the broader community; and advocate for the profession of School Counseling. Applicants for a senior appointment must have a substantial publication record, grant history, a current research agenda relevant to the ASCA Model and Transformed School Counseling, and administrative experience and evidence of faculty leadership.
