Position Title: Assistant Professor of School Counseling

Responsibilities: Northern State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in School Counseling. Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in a learner-centered environment, practicum and internship supervision, academic advisement, scholarly activity, and service to the university and community. Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor is dependent on qualifications and experience. Salary is commensurate with rank and experience.

Qualifications: Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision with an emphasis in School Counseling, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program, or have been employed as a full-time faculty member in a counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year; ABD considered for a term instructor. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience as PK-12 school counselors. A record of scholarly productivity or potential, teaching experience, and professional service will enhance the candidate&#8217s application.
