National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination Training

Dear clinicians and clinicians-in-training,
Florida Atlantic University’s Department of Counselor Education and the Beta Rho Chi chapter of Chi Sigma Iota would like to invite you to attend a live, two day training for the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (the Florida state licensure exam for clinical mental health counselors) at Florida Atlantic University. By the end of this training, clinicians will be familiar with the content areas on the NCMHCE, including assessment and diagnosis, counseling and psychotherapy, and administration, consultation, and supervision. Attendees will learn about common test scenarios, using real-world clinical examples. Dr. Ashley Leudke, an expert on the exam, will be providing this training. The training will take place on Friday, November 1st, 2013 from 12:30pm until 5:30pm and on Saturday, November 2nd, from 9:00am-5:00pm. Registration will occur at 12:00pm on November 1st and at 8:30am on November 2nd.  The event is being held in the College of Business, room 120 on both days.  Test preparation materials will be provided.
Both members of the community and students are encouraged to take advantage of this very unique opportunity to prepare for this important professional exam. The cost of the preparation materials for this exam usually cost at least $325.00 via the AATBS website. This live 2-day training is being offered in addition to the AATBS test prep materials for a reduced fee of only $325, and Beta Rho Chi members will be charged only $299.00. Interested parties should RSVP by filling out the attached registration form and sending it to Darlene Epperson at Frederic@fau.edu. Please note that registration forms are due by Monday, October 21st, 2013 and both credit card and check will be accepted. A flyer with the workshop schedule and registration form is attached. We look forward to seeing you in November.
Sincerely,

The Department of Counselor Education and the Beta Rho Chi Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota.
