Responsibilities:
• Teach and advise graduate students pursuing a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Case Management and conduct research and proposal writing
• Develop and instruct online and hybrid classes
• Teach graduate courses required to obtain a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Case Management and core courses for other programs
• Conduct research and proposal writing
• Serve proactively on department and institutional committees
• Continue research and professional development
• Other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a Ph. D. or Rh.D in Rehabilitation or in a closely related area. Candidates must be a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) or obtain eligible certification within two years. Certification in comparable areas will be considered. Successful teaching experience at the graduate level and record of professional and scholarly productivity are required. Candidates should have experience in serving a wide range of individuals with disabilities, graduate student recruitment, and knowledge of vocation rehabilitation with a specialist in at least one of the following areas: vocational evaluation and assessment, substance abuse, job development and placement, corrections, private or public sector rehabilitation, psychiatric rehabilitation, communication skills (i.e., sign language, visual impairment/ blind). A working knowledge of Desire2Learn, Blackboard collaborate and/or other learning management systems and web-based teaching tools and a strong commitment to develop an online program of study and experience in delivering online instruction are desirable.
