Family Services Treatment is looking for a Mental Health Counselor to join our tem in working iwth the substance abuse population. Applicant must be a licensed mental health professional or have the ability to be a licensed mental health professional in the State of Idaho.

NATURE OF THE TREATMENT PROGRAMFamily Services Treatment Chemical Dependency Center and Counseling Clinic treatment programs provides professional, high quality outpatient treatment services to clients, which includes assessment, individualized treatment plans, groups and individual therapy, and family education/therapy as they are eligible. The treatment programs supports substance abusers in breaking the cycle of addiction and the crimes that may accompany it, by combining effective treatment with intensive probation/court supervision when necessary.

GOALS OF THE TREATMENT PROGRAMThe goal is to help each individual attain the physical, emotional and social tools that light the path to a fulfilling personal recovery. Family Services Treatment programs are designed with respect for the needs of the individual and the family, as well as the needs of the community, the employer and the provider. The primary focus is the individual, and how to help him or her regain self-respect and become an integrated person. Family Services Treatment identifies the following five primary goals, which include both Substance Abuse Treatment Programs, and Drug Court Treatment Programs. The following are the goals of the treatment program:
  • Target the client's chemical dependency and criminogenic needs.
  • Enhance community safety.
  • Enhance participants to become responsible and productive members of the community.
  • Reduce substance abuse and criminal activity among participants.
  • Promote effective resources in holding clinents accountalb.e

Primary office will be Caldwell but may also work from the Emmett and/or Payette offices.
Will be part to full-time and will be required to work some evenings.
