Administrative Position Available

The Café of Life is searching for a replacement for our administrator who is leaving for a mission call.

The Café of Life is a not-for-profit organization that that serves the poor and needy people in Bonita Springs. Hot nutritious meals are provided daily Monday through Friday at 10:00 A.M. serving 90 plus clients daily. In addition the Café supplies supplemental groceries and clothing and assists with other emergency needs. Additional information is available about the Café at www.cafeoflife.org .

The selected individual will be one of two part-time salaried employees, joining the Site Manager/Volunteer Coordinator who is responsible for coordinating volunteers and the actual serving meals to clients. In 2012 we served over 24,000 meals with the help of over 600 volunteers. The administrator occasionally works on site to assist the volunteers and with delivering of services to our clients. The administrator is responsible for all financial aspects of the Café of Life, i.e. receiving and processing donations, reconciling bank statements, receiving and paying bills, etc. The person must be able to prepare reports and communicate via computer. Microsoft Office and QuickBooks skills are a necessity. The administrator provides monthly communications to the Operations Committee and the Board of Directors. The administrator is the liaison to the community which includes attendance at United Way events and works with all other not-for-profit partners.
