Mental Health Counselor Needed ASAP - Also Needed PSR & BST positions (Las Vegas)

A growing Behavioral Health Agency (Type 14 Medicaid clinic) is currently seeking a mental health counselor (MFT-Intern, LCSW-Intern, or MFT) to provide individual, family and group therapy to our clients as well as mental health assessments. We are seeking professionals who are ethical, reliable and can work independently and as a team. We are committed to the clients we serve and maintain the highest standards of care.

Looking for someone who is already enrolled with Medicaid as a QMHP. Part-time/turning into full-time quickly

Requirements:
• Licensed in Nevada and currently and in good standing as a Marriage Family Therapist-Intern, LCSW-Intern or LMFT
• Enrolled with Medicaid as a Qualified Mental Health Practitioner (QMHP)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Nevada State Driver's License, automobile insurance, and malpractice insurance.

Duties:
• Facilitate comprehensive mental health assessments. Provide therapy at the agency with the infrequent possibility of some in-home assessments as well.
• Write Prior Authorization Requests to Medicaid, enter Pars into the Medicaid system.
• Responsible for documenting services provided for Medicaid reporting.
This position is for an independent contractor.

PSR and BST Specialist Information

• Initiates and continues direct communication with health care providers involved with the care of the
member to obtain complete and accurate information.
• Communicate with Medicaid as needed.
• Adheres to all confidentiality requirements.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and written skills
• Attention to details and deadlines. Maintain documentation.
• Understand all components of a Rehabilitation Plan
• Identifies cases appropriate for case management and makes appropriate referrals.
• Identifies potential quality of care issues.
• Meets service standards for decision turnaround times and written correspondence
• Performs special projects as assigned
* 1+ years experience and willingness to work with assigned PSR clients
Minimum Requirements: Associates or Bachelor's degree in the field of Sociology, Psychology, Behavioral
Science, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Development and Family Services, Anthropology,
Nursing or Speech Pathology.
1 + years PSR field experience in the state of Nevada servicing people diagnosed with mental and or
behavioral health disorders. Current Nevada Medicaid provider with NPI number a requirement
Must have Valid Nevada Driver's License; Pass FBI check and clearance, TB test, current CPR. Must be able
to read, write and follow directions, identify emergency situations, communicate effectively. Be competent in
the delivery of skills needed to perform your job.
