Director of Counseling and College Advising
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or higher, preferably in counseling, psychology, or social work. Significant experience in academic, personal, or college counseling is preferred. A strong work ethic, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a desire to work collaboratively with students, parents, faculty and staff are important qualifications. A highly qualified candidate will have established relationships with college and university admissions representatives and have experience in one-on-one and group counseling settings.



Strake Jesuit is a Catholic, four-year, college preparatory school for young men grades 9-12 located in Houston, Texas. The school’s mission is to assist young men in their formation as leaders and as 'Men for Others' through a program of rigorous college preparation in the tradition of the Society of Jesus. Applicants should have an ability to relate to and work well with others, possess excellent writing, communication, organizational and leadership skills, and have a strong proficiency with computers and technology. A working knowledge of the Society of Jesus and Jesuit education is preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.
