Human Trafficking Awareness Partnerships: Administrative Assistant/Program Coordinator


Human Trafficking Awareness Partnerships is an organization dedicated to bring the
issue of human trafficking to the forefront of public awareness. Its mission includes :
  Empowering individual communities to take action through education, training and the
coordination of resources.
  Creating partnerships of informed communities to share information, experiences,
programs and best practices in order to make the work of each partner more
effective and to extend efforts beyond local jurisdictions.
  Supporting primary research and disseminating information and developing new
programs to prevent the crime and facilitate the work of all key partners.
Duties to include:
Will be responsible for carrying out duties in accordance with the mission and policies and
procedures of Human Trafficking Awareness Partnerships, Inc.
In collaboration with the Executive Director, will be responsible for day to day operations to
include developing, implementing and maintaining data base and websites, assist with and
develop effective fundraising events to increase funds, community awareness, sponsorships,
and participation from individuals and corporations. Facilitation of training and prevention
programs and coordination of volunteers.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, editing and writing skills, solid verbal communication skills
necessary.
Ability to maintain records and write reports to funding agencies.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in different locations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point.
Demonstrated ability to conduct internet research, find grant and sponsorship sources,
assist in grant writing.
Background in marketing or public relations a plus.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on challenging tasks and to grow with the
organization.
BA/BS equivalent.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. In addition, needs to have the
ability to relate well and work effectively with multiple constituencies and audiences.
