Position Summary
The Psychologist/Counselor’s primary role is to provide individual and group therapy, triage/intake assessments, crisis intervention, outreach programs, consultation to faculty and staff and supervision and training of intern/practicum graduate students.
Minimum Qualifications
An earned Doctorate from an accredited program in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselor Education or Social Work. Licensed or license eligible by the State of North Carolina to practice clinical services within his/her area of competency. Continued employment is contingent on acquiring North Carolina License within 12 months of employment. Demonstrate competency in working with individuals from underrepresented and/or under-served populations. Demonstrate proficiency with the DSM-5.
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year of full-time or equivalent experience in a college counseling center.
