Director of Guidence Counselor in San Antonio, TX

Incarnate Word High School, an all girls college prep program seeks a Director of Guidance effective immediately.  

The Director of Guidence organizes, administers, and coordinates the guidance program with the assistance of the Vice Principal and Principal. Plans and conducts in-service training programs for guidance staff, students, teachers, and parents. Plans and supervises testing program such as the PSAT, High School Placement Test, Iowa Test of Educational Development, and Advanced Placement. In conjunction with the Vice Principal and Principal, devises and directs use of records, reports, and other material essential to program. Coordinates guidance activities with faculty and administration, students, and/or community agencies for delivery to specific or all school population. Counsel students, at times on a referral basis, relative to educational and vocational objectives as well as personal and social problems on a short term and crisis intervention level. Other duties as assigned.  

Must have a Masters Degree in Educational Counseling and 5 years counseling experience at an educational institution.
