Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling. Two years of experience working with parents and children and the ability to develop and carry out a mental health appraisal to includepsycho/social/behavioral functioning and plan of remediation based on accepted, research based educational/therapeutic practices. Must have experience with various computer software programs andability to use email.Florida Department of Education Certification in social work or licensed clinical social workers and licensed mental health providers as defined in and governed by Chapter 491, F.S. Unlicensed candidates that have a Florida Department of Education Certificate in social work, or a Master’s degree in mental health counseling and is a “Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern,” who is being supervised by a “Qualified Supervisor”. Unlicensed candidates must obtain license within three years of start date.
