Research Participants Needed!

My name is Marguerite Quirk and I am research assistant to Dr. Laurie Bonjo, assistant professor in the graduate counseling program, psychology department at SUNY New Paltz.

I am contacting you to request your participation in our study titled “Current Training Practices Employed by Counselor Educators When Teaching School Counselors-in-Training to Support Healthy Sexual Development."

If you would like to participate in this study, you will be asked to (1) complete a survey compiled with short-answer questions and also (2) to email a copy of your de-identified syllabi to the following email address: lauriebonjoresearch@gmail.com.

This study will take approximately 15 to 30 minutes of your time.

Criteria for participation: individuals that teach multicultural counseling, human development, or counseling skills to school counseling students are encouraged to participate.

IMPORTANT: Regarding the criteria for participation-- Participants do not have to teach school counseling students exclusively; rather, it is required that school counselors be present in the class. The class can include other counselors-in-training, but the questions in the study will focus on school counseling students. Participation in this study is completely voluntary and data collected from this study will remain anonymous.
