WASH/BAKE SALE
San
Carlos Park, FL September 15th 2012 - Let us clean your car and feed you!!!
The
Variety Club South, Lee County Parks & Recreation’s Special Needs
Club, is having a car wash and a bake sale on Saturday, September 15th
2012 from 9am - 1pm at Karl Drews Community Center (18412 Lee
Road Ft. Myers 33967). Cookies, pies, breads, and pastries will be
available for purchase. We are not charging a specific price; all
donations are welcome. All that donate will receive a certificate for
admission to the San Carlos Community Pool next door - So don’t forget your
bathing suit!!!!
The
Variety Club South, allows adults with special needs, ages 22 and up, to
expand their social circles while learning how to use community resources. This
program is designed to assist adults in developing self‐efficacy, leisure
skills, independence, and interpersonal relationships. The group meets
Monday - Thursday from 10-1 at Karl J. Drews.
