Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Counselor - Middle School

SUMMARY: The vision of the Westminster Public Schools Division of Social Emotional Learning is “To Transform the way we as adults and students interact with ourselves, each other, and the world around us.”  The SEL Counselor supports this vision through partnerships with instructional staff, mental health interventionists, and building administrators at the middle level to implement the WPS SEL model in a Competency Based System. The SEL Counselor reports directly to the Director of SEL & Student Agency and works directly with educators and students within the fabric of existing SEL practices in buildings to expand Tier I and II SEL instruction and enhance Adult Social Emotional Learning among staff.
