The Women’s Center of Jacksonville is a nonprofit Jacksonville-based organization offering education, support, and advocacy to survivors of all genders and ages. The Women’s Center of Jacksonville is the only certified rape crisis center in Duval, Baker and Nassau Counties and also offers community education, counseling, referral assistance, rape prevention services, and breast cancer education, support, and advocacy at complimentary and affordable prices.

JOB TITLE: SEXUAL ASSAULT FORENSIC EXAM PROGRAM (SAFE) COORDINATOR

JOB SUMMARY: The Women’s Center of Jacksonville serves as the certified rape crisis center for Duval, Baker and Nassau Counties, offering comprehensive sexual assault services to survivors and their loved ones. This full-time position oversees the day-to-day operation of the Sexual Assault Forensic Exam (SAFE) facility with guidance from the Medical Director. This position requires clinical work in addition to conducting administrative tasks and supervision of SANE’s who cover the 24-hour call schedule. The SAFE Coordinator must be available to assist with 24-hour coverage as needed. As the supervisor of the SANE’s, the candidate is expected to be available as a resource. The Coordinator must be able to physically respond to calls within 45 minutes from the time the call is received. The SAFE Coordinator will interface with medical professionals, law enforcement agencies, criminal justice, victim advocacy and external support agencies that provide services to victims of crime and violence.
