2019 Convention SPOTLIGHT

ADVOCACY this year's point of emphasis for the 2019 FSCA Convention. Come learn strategies for advocacy at the school level, district level, and with stakeholders.

PAUL RIPCHIK, opens the 2019 Convention with the keynote, The Heart of a Counselor. As the Associate Principal, Paul's leadership with his 12 school counselors at Shenendehowa High School, developed a plan to recognize and rebrand the Shenendehowa Counseling, College & Career Center. In 2017 the school was recognized as an ASCA Model Program (RAMP) and School of Distinction. Paul now serves as an ASCA Lead RAMP Reviewer. Mark your schedule too to attend his breakout session; Resources for Counselors to Use in Promoting Their Program.

FSCA is ...

If your colleagues are not FSCA members, ask 'WHY NOT?'

FSCA is the ONLY state-wide organization who supports each of you, for the work you do each and every day to make a difference for your students.

One way of FSCA support to school counselors is by Professional Development. In addition to the annual state convention, on-site trainings and webinars are offered. If you have needs and/or questions, please do reach out at fsca@fla-schoolcounselor.org.
