Job opportunity for a Mental Health Counselor

AB&C Therapeutic Solutions is a rapidly growing mental health counseling provider with offices in Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Labelle. Our demographic ranges from young children to senior citizens. We provide individual, family, couples and group counseling and treat a wide variety of mental health disorders.

We are looking for a Mental Health Counselor with a desire to help people. An eagerness and willingness to learn and improve clinical skills is a must. Applicants need to be experienced with children or willing to learn to work with children and be bilingual (Spanish).

Responsibilities:

·        Assess, diagnose, and treat clients with mental health disorders.

·        Develop and implement treatment plans

·        Assess patients for risk of suicide attempts.

·        Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.

• Participate in crisis intervention as needed.
• Complete all necessary documentation for billing requirements accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with additional providers i.e. teachers, psychiatrists, physicians in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• When working with children and adolescents, the clinician will conduct and participate in parent meetings/sessions as needed.
• Communicate in a professional manner both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain compliance with all agency policies and procedures.
• Ability to travel to Labelle approximately once per week then alternate between Cape Coral and Fort Myers offices. Travel to Labelle will be reimbursed.

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling
• Bilingual (Spanish)
