2019 Choice Theory Conference

More information: http://wglasser.com/2019-conference/

WGI-US, Glasser Canada and the NW Region of WGI-US has exciting information about the upcoming 2019 Conference in Bellevue, WA, a suburb of Seattle. This will be a co-sponsored conference between the US and Canada, hosted by the NW Region of WGI-US. You can view the information regarding the conference here: www.wglasser.com/2019-conference. From that page, you will be able to submit a proposal, book your hotel, register for the conference itself and corresponding events, and book an Alaskan cruise with Holland America if you are interested. Look in the upper left-hand corner and click on the corresponding icons.

The confe rence theme is Choice Theory: Your Operating System for a Quality Life. We are doing things differently next year, mainly to accommodate having the conference in this hotel with the special rate of $119/night they are offering. The conference will begin Tuesday, September 3, and end Friday, September 6, 2019. Faculty day will be before the conference begins on September 3 and the annual board meeting for those interested in attending will be September 2, 2019, with the board also meeting on September 1. Certification and instructor training will happen following the conference from September 7-10, 2019.

We are looking for conference proposals if you'd like to present. Please note, you must be CTRT certified to present, unless you are presenting with a certified person. We will be looking for proposals that speak to a variety of audiences with a variety of applications. WGI -US and Glasser Canada are working to bring Choice Theory to the everyday person so any presentations with ideas in that direction will be welcome. We will also give preference to any seasoned, known Glasser person who is introducing a new CT presenter.

The hotel is the Embassy Suites in Bellevue, WA. You will want to register as soon as possible in case the room block runs out. The price of rooms in the nearby vicinity is expected to be more than double what we have negotiated with the conference hotel. You can book your rooms from the conference page.

We have planned an Alaskan cruise for those wanting to participate the week prior to the conference. We have booked a group on Holland America leaving from Seattle on August 24th and returning August 31st. You can learn about the cruise on our website. Please call to book. Trying to book on the website or even a discount travel website means WGI will not receive credit for your room. This cruise is strickly recreational. You can invite anyone you want and provide them with our code. The voyage is D954 24 Aug 2019. Holland America does not offer special pricing for groups but they do give some type of rebate to the group to be used for something special for the group. They were quite cryptic about what this would be because it is completely dependent on how many people sign up. You may find lower prices on different websites and are free to choose them, but you will not be able to benefit from whatever benefit happens to be planned for the group. This might include a special excursion, a special dinner or anything else Holland America offers. Also be aware the prices on the Holland America site include taxes while the ones on special travel websites often do not. I hope to see you on this 8-day/7-night cruise!
