Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Education, Counseling, Advising, or related field. Two (2) years of appropriate experience in student development and training, counseling, advising, academic retention, or related field. Experience operating a personal computer and proficient in Microsoft office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).  
Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree from an accredited institution in Education, Higher Education, Counseling, Advising, or closely related field and two years of experience working with students within a Higher Education Institution. Experience in student academic advising, a college/university learning center, and/or counseling. Experience in designing academic support programs addressing special characteristics, interests, and backgrounds. Experience working with undergraduate and diverse students. Experience training and supervising student leaders. Experience collecting and researching data for assessment. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Banner. Experience utilizing AccuTrack.

Coordinates instructional support services, to include the Instructional Support Tutoring Lab, which provides drop-in tutoring services for FGCU students.
Recruits, interviews, selects, trains, and supervises student instructional support leaders, student workers, volunteers, and OPS staff. Develops and organizes instructional support leader schedule. Keeps accurate records of contact information for instructional support leader staff.
Works collaboratively with faculty and staff to ensure program effectiveness and communicates program needs, changes, and services provided. Establishes a marketing and outreach plan to advertise services and programs.
Manages data collection, evaluation, and analysis for reporting and program assessments. Tracks and collects data of Instructional Support services and other CAA programs that address the unique needs of the CAA student population in order to support academic success and retention, and enhance academic development.
Collaborates with Academic Retention Program staff to provide Student Success Workshops that address the unique needs of Center for Academic Achievement (CAA) student population to support student academic success, academic retention, and enhance academic development.
Updates and maintains CAA policies and procedures, as well as day-to-day operations and management.

Works with administrators, faculty, staff, and students to assist in the development and the implementation of programs. Promotes the importance of student academic success.
Serves as a collaborative member of the CAA and Undergraduate Studies department. Contributes as an active proponent of a team approach. Promotes the CAA throughout the University community. Other duties as assigned.
