This position will be part of the Behavioral Health Precert team who reviews facility-based (higher level) care requests. This position will be office based initially with the possibility of telework at some point in the future. You may work out of any Aetna office with potential to move to work at home after 1 year of proven performance.
Please note the hours for this position are:
12pm - 8:30pm ET Monday- Friday
10am- 6:30pm MT Monday- Friday
Work requires sitting for extended periods, talking on the telephone and typing into the computer.
Utilizes clinical skills to coordinate, document and communicate all aspects of the utilization/benefit management program. Applies critical thinking and is knowledgeable in clinically appropriate treatment, evidence based care and clinical practice guidelines for Behavioral Health and/or medical conditions based upon program focus.
