Women's Center: DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS

The Women’s Center is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist women and their families in creating safe, healthy, self-sufficient lives by providing support, education, counseling, information and services to survivors of domestic, dating, and sexual violence, and those suffering the ill effects of poverty, homelessness, and mental health challenges.

We are actively looking for a DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS to develop and administer all program activities of the Women’s Center in accordance with its stated purpose and general policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Program administration, program planning and evaluation, program fiscal management, personnel management and community relations.

PROGRAMS OF THE WOMEN’S CENTER include Self- sufficiency and Transitional Housing, Domestic violence victims’ advocacy and safe housing, Sexual assault victims services and Mental health counseling,

QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in an accredited program of social work, counseling, psychology, human services or business management preferred.  Four years of administrative experience in a Human Service related position.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications.
