Vocational Evaluator in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral/Naples area.

Vocational Concepts has an immediate opening for a Vocational Evaluator in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral/Naples area. This is an independent contractor position and some travel is required. Qualified candidates must hold a master’s degree in counseling or a related field. Licensed Mental Health Counselor and/or Certified Rehabilitation Counselor designation is preferred. Registered MHC interns and students will be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required.

Essential Job Functions:

·       Scheduling, correspondence, and caseload management

·       Medical / psychological file review

·       Interview customers to ascertain employment, educational, medical, and psychiatric history

·       Administer, score, and interpret achievement, intelligence, interest, and aptitude assessments

·       Conduct labor market research

·       Effectively utilize counseling techniques to facilitate development of vocational goals

·       Perform situational assessments/work site evaluations in the community

·       Produce written reports synthesizing all gathered information

Candidates must have their own professional liability insurance.
