Job TitleCoordinator for Residential Student Conduct
Job Description
As the Coordinator for Residential Student Conduct you will assists in the overall management of the residential student conduct process within the Office of Housing and Residence Life (OHRL).
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, Counseling, or related degree.
Consideration will be given to applicants who will have their Master’s degree conferred by July 1, 2016.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, Counseling, or related degree and two years of residence life or student affairs experience. Experience in student conduct and program development. Experience in responding to and managing emergencies and other incidents that may occur in the residential environment. Experience with Banner, RMS, Maxient.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of residence hall living and/or student development.
Excellent interpersonal, supervisory, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to assume responsibility, work independently, and take initiative.
Demonstrated commitment to equity and social justice.
Ability to work effectively and positively in an environment characterized by change, including the ability to acquire new knowledge and utilize that information to develop new programs and services.
Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office Professional (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Salary Range$37,000 - $40,000

Job Duties

Other Duties
Serves on University committees.
Represents the University at community events and assists with other aspects of the Residence Life program as needed.
May supervise OPS,student workers and/or volunteers/staff during special events.
Performs other duties as assigned.
