The Team Lead, Counseling is responsible for directing an assigned group of Counselors working with a virtual program.  The position proactively oversee, and as necessary, participate in day-to-day activities which will include monitoring student/counselor ratios, handling escalated phone calls, and continuing professional development.  In addition responsible for fostering positive work environment and high team morale through the use of appropriate coaching and motivational techniques.  Further responsibility includes assisting the Manager, Counseling with an evaluation of the working relationships and the school counselor's professional competencies as outlined by the ASCA National Model.
