Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (Remote/Virtual)

This position is for a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and is a fully remote telehealth position. The position is part time and hours are fairly flexible. There may be opportunity to eventually have a full time practice. The position start date will be in January/February 2021.

My private practice is 100% online, and the practice does not provide treatment for children. The practice is adult-based. There is opportunity for learning and experience with providing services to a diverse client population.

Major specialties include chronic illness or pain and eating disorders, in addition to mood disorders, anxiety, and generalized mental health challenges. Treatment methods typically utilized are eclectic and include: CBT, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness and meditation-based therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Psychodynamic Therapy.

Morning and evening work hours are available. The times can be relatively flexible, but having more availability in your schedule is better. We will be able to come up with a schedule for you, together. You can work fewer yet longer shifts, if you would like, or you can do more days but shorter shifts.
