Job Goal:

 In coordination with the principal, the counselor is responsible for providing individual and group counseling and guidance services on appropriate level in order to assist students in their growth towards educational, vocational, and personal goals. To help provide a developmental program, which assists in acquiring the understanding and skills to become self-directing and self-correcting.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree
Valid Nevada Counseling and Teaching License*
Valid Nevada Driver's License

Successful candidate must complete a thorough background check and pass mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.

Working Conditions:

Office or suitable workspace with desk, telephone, computer, and supplies necessary to carry out functions of position description.
