I am pleased to announce two openings for Talent Search coordinator at Florida Gulf Coast
University with a start date of early January 2017.
The Coordinator, Talent Search assists middle and high school students within four Lee County public schools with career and post-secondary education exploration. This position is grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education TRiO program. Each coordinator will be responsible for one high school and one middle school (approximately 250 students). The coordinator will have an office at the high school.

Substance Abuse Counselor - Lee County
Colonial Management Group, LP operates a number of nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment centers dedicated to helping these individuals and their families regain control of their lives. We take great pride in treating our patients with dignity and respect in each phase of their treatment experience.
Colonial Management Group, LP, is currently searching for a Full Time Substance Abuse Counselor. Candidates must be able to work early morning hours and available to work some weekends. Candidates must be able to pass a credit check, background check and drug screening.
Requirements
Candidate will provide direct care in determining patient's status and issues by interviewing them, obtaining personal information and medical history.
Designs treatment and rehabilitation program by using their knowledge of alcohol and drug dependency and counseling, while tailoring the process based on patient's needs.
Modifies treatments by maintaining case history and progress notes while observing their patients.
Restores patients to productive roles by educating them about available community based organizations, and social and employment services.
Experience in substance abuse field is not required, but preferred. Qualified candidates will either have a degree, be certified or have experience in the substance abuse field
CAP certification preferred.

We have a current opening for a Full-Time Therapist (Clinician). This position will allow you to find purpose and give you room to grow in the largest not-for-profit provider of services to children and families in Florida. *Responsibilities* As a Therapist (Clinician), you will be expected to actively assist your assigned clients in the participation, involvement and routine of their individualized program and work within a multidisciplinary team to review the client's treatment, goals, progress and future needs. Responsibilities include: 1. Provide in-community therapeutic services 2. Provide therapeutic services with an interactive approach 3. Work closely with individuals and families served in treatment planning 4. Work closely with other team members in the treatment plan 5. Ensure coordination of services is taken to meet the client needs 6. Document therapeutic interventions in the client's records in a timely manner 7. Be a role model for all individuals and families served 8. Recommend and/or revise treatment interventions 9. Monitor progress 10. Coordinate appropriate discharge planning
