Nonprofit seeks Program Coordinator
Grant Position – Part Time
Program experience preferred but not necessary. Education, HR or non-profit background a must. Must be flexible with availability, as this position will include nights and weekends once a month.
Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Must be highly organized, a self-starter and be able to facilitate workshops. Will be working with unemployed and underemployed women and local employers.

David Lawrence Center to Host Mood Disorder Expert Kay Redfield Jamison at Sound Minds ™ Mental Health Symposium March 25, 2017
David Lawrence Center's third annual Sound Minds™ Mental Health Symposium will be held on March 25, 2017 at Moorings Presbyterian Church from 3:00-5:00 pm. The Meet the Speaker reception and book signing will immediately follow from 5:00-7:00 pm. This year’s event focuses on brain health and features renowned psychologist, educator and author Kay Redfield Jamison, PhD, as keynote speaker. The VIP Wine Dinner includes an opportunity to dine intimately with Dr. Jamison the evening before, March 24, at 6:00 pm, at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida.

- The primary function of this position is to support the Camp Counselors in their group activities with facilitating and leading small groups of children in various activities, entertainment and educational programs that include: sports, games, arts & crafts, swimming, canoeing, bicycling, archery, fishing, field trips, and special events.
- Assume some of the Site Director's responsibilities in their absence like parent/camper counseling, confirming field trip schedules, redirecting staff assignments and activities.
